Is Hazardous Waste Accumulated?

Hazardous wastes are temporarily stored in hazardous waste facilities. In order to store hazardous wastes, permission must be obtained from the governorship as stated in paragraph c of Article 9 of the Hazardous Waste Control Regulation. However, as long as the amount of waste stored by the producer does not exceed one thousand kilograms per month and 6 thousand kilograms in total, there is no need to obtain permission from the governorship. In addition, it can temporarily hold the wastes it stores for a maximum of 180 days. In such a case, even if there is any danger in the area where the waste is stored, it must appoint a person and is obliged to send the contact information of the person appointed to the governorship.
